Lacey was born late at night and the moon was almost full. It was probably the last really cold night of the season or at least I hope. I remember standing outside the foaling barn looking at that moon giving mom and baby time to bond a bit before going back in to make sure Lacey was nursing and that mom passed the placenta okay. This girl really has the color and is very petite in size. |
